Business Development Manager
Position Profile:
PTIGlobal is seeking a senior sales person who has proven experience in winning new business in the services sector. Ideally, the candidate would have experience selling localization and translation-related services or software consulting, however experience selling in other services sectors will be considered. PTIGlobal provides translation, software engineering, quality assurance testing, and software localization services to numerous vertical markets worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of PTIGlobal's translation and localization services
Identify prospective customers and individual organizations on which to focus sales activities
Develop new clients via cold calling, the Internet and trade shows
Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
Provide customer supportand manage client expectations in conjunction with PTIGlobal's production department
Use Salesforce.com to target, record and report on sales activities
Manage telesales position
Some travel to trade shows and customer meetings
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree at a minimum
Experience in selling services and/or products to the high-tech marketplace
Excellent English communication (written and verbal) skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective time management
Computer/Internet usage including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and browser
Customer support
Ideal Skills/Experience, but not required:
Experience in selling localization services or software consulting
Familiarity with software development cycle
Ability to develop marketing collateral, including PowerPoint presentations, online web copy and PDF brochures
Deep experience in using and/or managing a sales automation application
Marketing experience
Direct experience in localization services business
