Portland OR, February 4, 2009 —PTIGlobal rolled out its first national ad campaign this year, a series of print ads pulsed throughout 2009 in Multilingual Computing, the localization industry’s banner journal. Each ad is unique in its graphics and its messaging, but all have a common visual theme.
The ads feature a close-up of a face, primarily the eyes. Each face is starkly painted with a different, colorful national flag. Countries featured thus far have been China, Greece, and Turkey, with Sweden and Taiwan in development.
“Our intent was to create a visual statement about our world-wide focus, while the texts themselves are simple, punchy statements about our localization capabilities,” states Michael Pendergast, Director of Sales and Marketing. “They are very startling, which catches your eye, but also fun. People try to guess the country flag and ask us what image we are planning for the next rollout.”
