PTIGlobal Chosen Sole Localization Vendor to NVIDIA

Portland OR, August 27, 2009 - PTIGlobal was named today as the sole preferred vendor for localization services at NVIDIA Corporation. Effective September 1, 2009, all requests for localization from NVIDIA groups must be submitted directly to PTIGlobal. The initial contract has a duration of two years.

Although PTIGlobal has been localizing for a single technology group at NVIDIA since 2002, there are close to 60 groups world-wide, which use localization services. NVIDIA has traditionally met its localization needs with a large number of localization companies, with individual corporate groups engaging independently with their preferred localization provider. For the last 18 months, however, NVIDIA has been engaged in internal discussions regarding the merits of vendor consolidation and how it could impact localization costs.

The contract was awarded on the basis of past performance and the ability to meet future wide-ranging business needs. A localization optimization plan was submitted by PTIGlobal, covering topics such as machine translation, single sourcing, content creation, options for testing, as well as suggestions for improving current process flow.

NVIDIA is a multinational corporation specializing in the development of graphics processing units and chipset technologies for workstations, personal computers, and mobile devices.
